NEW! Guidelines for
Manuscripts, Speakers and Poster
Presenters:
IFSA 2003 POST-DEADLINE
PAPER SUBMISSIONS
The IFSA 2003 Technical
Program Committee will accept submissions
for post-deadline
papers. Click the "Submit a post-deadline
abstract" link to the left to begin
the submission process.
Due to the publication
and organization of this conference,
post-deadline papers
will be poster presentations.
These submissions will not be printed
in the abstract book or
proceedings. However, we will make
every effort to organize a handout
and table
of contents for post-deadline submissions.
IFSA 2003 Abstract and
Paper Submission Process
Abstracts and papers submitted to the IFSA2003
conference will be peer-reviewed under the supervision of the Technical
Program Committee (TPC). One-page abstracts in Adobe PDF format
should be submitted through this Web site after January 6, 2003.
The authors accepted must submit three paper
copies of the full paper according to the standards noted upon registration
at the conference. The standards for the full papers will appear
soon on this Web site.
Guidelines:
-
Abstracts
must be limited to
one (8.5 X 11/US letter)
page and submitted
electronically as Adobe
.pdf files. (See www.adobe.com
for more information on .pdf files.)
-
Since the accepted abstracts will be bound
without reformatting, we recommend authors use a 12-point serif
font such as Times or Times New Roman. Please include the title,
author(s), and affiliation(s) in your abstract.
-
The TPC will review
the abstracts for relevance to the conference scope, content,
originality, and quality standards as set by the American Physical
Society (APS) paper guidelines.
-
The reviews will
be conducted electronically, hence the abstract is required
to be submitted electronically.
-
The abstract submission
will require the author's name, affiliation, mail addresses,
telephone and fax numbers and an e-mail address.
-
If submission is
co-authored, the principal authors' information should be listed
and all correspondence will proceed through that person.
-
Authors should
indicate whether an oral or poster paper is preferred.
-
Authors will be
notified that the abstract was received, and after the review,
of the acceptance, acceptance with revisions, or rejection.
-
The authors of
accepted abstracts must submit three paper copies of the full
paper according to the standards noted upon registration at
the conference. The standards for full papers will appear soon
on this web site.
-
Full papers will
be reviewed by referees selected by the TPC. The TPC Chair will
forward any required revisions or additions to authors before
publication.
-
Corrected final
manuscripts and PDF electronic files for the IFSA Proceedings
need to be received by December 31, 2003. A final version
of the paper should be sent to the American Nuclear Society,
Scientific Publication Department, 555 N. Kensington Avenue
LaGrange Park, IL 60526 USA by the end of December 2003. An
electronic file (.pdf format) should be uploaded to the American
Nuclear Society web site at http://www.ans.org/pubs/journals/fst/ifsa
